I have worked in the construction & infrastructure industry for over 38 years, programming & scheduling major projects around the world. I am able to bring my experience and knowledge to manage government initiates for the industry for the benefit of the Selwyn community. I have also tutored at ARA for 10 years including their  Construction Management Degree course. More recently I have worked for Christchurch City Council in their Major Projects team involved specifically with the Town Hall Restoration & Tūranga.

In my spare time I enjoy supporting my wife looking after our full blood Highland Cattle, Heritage Pigs (producing some very tasty bacon), Wiltshire Sheep, Milking Goats, Ducks, Chickens and three-legged Labrador, Ebony!

I moved to New Zealand 13 years ago with my wife and three children. We have lived in and around Christchurch since then and were all privileged to achieve New Zealand citizenship eight years ago. We moved to a lifestyle block in Selwyn six years ago and now, literally, have deep roots in the area and its future. My wife and three grown-up children are all committed to Selwyn, Christchurch and the South Island.
